Quarantine has become the best way to protect yourself from infection. Quarantine is a process of isolation and monitoring for people who have been exposed to covid 19 viruses or are suspected of having one. It can be done at home, in hospitals, or in quarantine centers. The purpose of quarantining someone with a covid 19 virus is to prevent spreading their virus to others. It may also help determine whether they have the virus that causes the illness in some cases. In Hong Kong, there is no mandatory quarantine, but if you come back after traveling abroad, you will need to go into self-quarantine for 14 days. If your symptoms worsen during this period, then you should seek medical attention immediately. It would help if you stayed away from other people until you recovered. This means avoiding public transport, going out shopping, etc.
